Testimony

Storyboard Text

  • When we were born, we were separated from God by sin. We could try and get to God through good works but that's not enough. Salvation is not enough to get to God. If we don't. get to God, we'll stay in sin and not go to heaven.

  • The only person who can get us to God is Jesus. Jesus paid the price for us to cross to God, but we have to receive Christ before we get to God. When. we receive Him, we have to believe in Him and engage in a relationship with Him.

  • When we accept Christ into our hearts and cross the bridge, we will have eternal life with God in heaven. But we can't just accept Him once and leave it at that. We have to maintain a relationship with Christ and keep in touch with our salvation.

  • My testimony is my history. I was basically born into the church. I can’t remember a moment when I wasn’t at the church. I have been going to Christian private schools all my life and my life has revolved around God. I accepted Christ when I was 5, but I didn’t fully understand what I was doing. I knew that I was going to have Jesus in my heart, but I didn’t know that I was saved.
  • At one point, I felt like I didn’t own my faith. I felt as if my life became a routine. It was no longer a relationship that I was living, it became a habit and a religion. I wanted to grow and I wanted to strengthen my relationship with God, but I was struggling. I wanted to do what I wanted, but I wanted to do what God wanted at the same time, and it confused me. I wanted guidance from God and I wanted His will to be done in my life.
  • I praise and thank God that I am saved today, and that I know the truth. I am still praying for guidance for my future and what God wants me to do for the rest of my life, but that will come with time. I’m glad that today I have a strengthened relationship with God. I will continue to grow my relationship and I will continue to grow in my knowledge of Christ. I pray that His guidance will come soon, and I hope that I will be able to continue my life with His will as my path.
