  • Charlie is a 37 year old man with a very low IQ, he lives in NewYork. charlie takes adult classes with Ms. Kinnian. He wants dr. strauss and dr. numeur to do test on him to get smarter. Charlie get's ink block test done on him and races me (Algernon) Before he gets an operation to get smart.
  • Climax
  • (Man Vs. Self) Charlie stressed and depressed about if anything will work out,(Man Vs. Society) Charli's "friends" are making fun of him all the time and charlie thinks that it is fine.
  • Falling Action
  • Charlie is afraid that the doctors won't use him for the operation because he thinks he is failing the inkblot test and loses to Algernon in the maze races.The doctors argued a lot on if they should use charlie and they decided to. They did the thest on charlie. Charlie  is going through a bunch of test to try and get smarter.Charlie is frustrated because he doesn't feel like anything is happening and that he isn't getting any smarter.
  • Resolution 
  • Charlie has gotten very smart and knows just about everything. a lot of people are worried that charlie is going to lose his memory and pass away just like Algernon.
  • Algernon died and charlie is getting mad because he can't remember how to read his favorite books and he can't write very good. Charlie is getting clumsy and not opening the door or answering anything. Ms. Kinnian is very depressed and worried over him.
  • Charlie has forgot just about everything, he is moving away from everyone because he doesn't want them to feel bad or do anything because of him.  He writes letters telilng everyone goodbye. The story ends abruptly and leads reaaders wondering if he has passed away like Algernonn.
