  • There has been an accident at your son Herbert's work he did not suffer as compensation we would like to offer you 200 pounds.

  • Sergeant Major-Morris returns from India after 21 years in the Army with the monkey's paw and he is set to destroy it after the last carrier of the paw wished death upon himself.
  • Falling Action
  • I've got it! I will use the second wish on the paw to bring back Herbert.
  • That's not a good idea.
  • Mr. White pulls the monkey's paw from the fire and wishes for 200 pounds for his home to be paid off.

  • A man comes to inform the Whites their son Herbert has had an accident and as compensation they reward the Whites 200 pounds.
