Tan Le had a small house and she had to share a bed with her mother and younger sister. Her mother often used to get nightmares about the boat and Tan Le used to stay awake to wake her mother from her nightmares.
Tan Le was the ideal student and she achieved scholarships in many different school of the area she lived in.
Tan Le was called to speak at venues she had not even heard of and she had no idea what to say in front of such a big crowd.
After Tan Le's studies finished she became a lawyer and then after that she became a social activist. All the struggles in Tan Le's life did pay off in the end because of her hard work.
one really sad time in Tan Le's life was when her grandmother died. When she died Tan Le was in the shower in a hotel room in Sydney ,and when she heard the news of her grandmother's death she was very upset.
