  • Call to Adventure
  • Bill please you cant leave us!
  • Refusal of the Call
  • Why should I fight in some stupid war?
  • I can't leave Mary and John but if they catch me I'll get arrested.
  • The year was 1943 and Bill was residing in a rural town in the state of South Carolina. Along with him were his pregnant wife and his son.
  • Meeting the Mentor
  • My son, what do you need?
  • World War II had been raging on and the U.S. Army was drafting in order to fight the Axis Powers. Unfortunately, Bill was drafted.
  • Crossing the Threshold
  • Bill was planning to ditch the draft but he knew that if he was caught he would charged for desertion.
  • Tests, Allies, Enemies
  • Bill went to visit Father Vincenzo at the church in aid of advice. Father Vincenzo gives him advice on what to truly do.
  •  You must do what is right.
  • Believe in yourself. If you cannot then you have lost.
  • Father I have been drafted for war but I cannot leave my family.
  • But how? 
  • Bill joined the army after he had been given advice on what to do. He had been in boot camp for only a week and he started to regret his decision afterward.
  • The year was 1944. 6 months had passed and Bill was in Europe. Bill was sent to his first battle. Horrified by the sights Bill dropped to the ground shocked.
