  • Thank you for coming Horatio.
  • He resembles King Hamlet
  • We have seen your father's ghost!
  • Bernardo and Marcellus asked Horatio to join them in the nightly watch because there is something they want to show him. They tell Horatio they saw the ghost of King Hamlet.
  • Don't go my lord!
  • Hello!
  • Follow me!

  • Horatio does not seem to be convinced that there is a ghost. Suddenly the ghost appears in front of Horatio, Marcellus, and Bernando. Horatio wants to tell Hamlet he saw the ghost.
  • Claudius poisoned me while I was sleeping. Take revenge on Claudius but leave your mother alone.
  • Oh no!
  • Horatio tells Hamlet he saw his father's ghost. Hamlet is shocked and agrees to keep keep watch in the night to see the ghost.
  • I swear my lord!
  • I swear my lord!
  • Swear on the sword!
  • The ghost arrives and Hamlet calls out to him. The ghost beckons Hamlet to follow. Horatio and Marcellus plead Hamlet not to go.
  • King Hamlet tells Hamlet that Claudius killed him by pouring poison in his ear. He wants Hamlet to take revenge on Claudius but not his mother. Hamlet is very angry by hearing this.
  • Horatio and Marcellus race over to Hamlet asking what happened. Hamlet tells them to swear on his sword and not reveal the events of that night. Horatio and Marcellus swear to secrecy.
