- David moved into a new house, he comes across an acorn lying on the ground. He picks up the acorn and has an amazing idea to plant it.
- The acorn was planted. The first year had little result of growth but he didn’t get disheartened.
- David tendered the plant until it grew through the winter, and the scorching summer, storms and drought.
- The time came around when David had to sell his house. He admired the progress of his oak tree and how he didn’t give up on it until the tree had bloomed.

- The tree was a great selling point for the house as the parents buying saw many opportunities for the kids to play, seek shade and climb this tree.

- As David drove off he looked back at his house and smiled at the tree, looking at the children benefiting from his tree.
