  • Romantic literature  emphasizes individualism and emotions. This means that they over exaggerate things to make them seem like more, romanticizing the moment to appeal to the audience. The glorify what happened in the past and nature.
  • Realistic literature tells stories that take things as they really are. They don't over fantasize events and tell life as it really is. They depict everyday life and activities.

  • Although romantic literature can be enjoyed by anyone, it  is usually favored by those of high class back in the day. Unlike those boring realists.
  • Anyone can enjoy realistic literature, but it was mostly the working and lower class that enjoyed them because they could appeal to their lives. Unlike the unrealistic romantics.
