First of all, Canadians had to wash their clothes by hand and dry them on ropes before the 1950s.
Next they delivered mail by dog sled from Fort Mcmurray to Fort Chipwan.The fastest way to travel is by boat and the fastest boat was a canoe.
In the dog sleds,the one closest to the person was called the wheel dog which is the one who controls the dog sled.
The babies would sleep in hamocks with strings and a cushion in the middle. When they went travelling,they would put the baby in a mosque bag.Random fact the cabins only live a number of years before it collapse.
The priest wore long robes and there were a lot of fur traders.The skinners have to make sure all of the flesh is off so they had to use a knife and they put it in a hoop.

And the only way to wash their clothes is to go to the lake and fill a bucket with water , bring it back to the farm and clean them by hand.
Also they used animal fur to make hats,gloves,muck lucks[boots]and other clothes.
Kids didn't have a lot of hobbies back then so they learned skills.
