Long ago, there lived a powerful, and semi-barbaric king. His ideas were progressive, untrammeled and caused people to suffer. He was blander and made the crooked straight.
One of the king's ideas was a public arena. The arena is were crime was punished, or innocence was decided. All people gathered in the arena.
If the accused man open one door, out came a hungry tiger, the fiercest in the land. If the accused person opened the other door, out came a woman.
The king had a beautiful daughter. She had a soul that was fervent and imperious. She secretly loved a young man who was the best-looking and bravest in the land, but he was a commoner.
The king found out about the relationship between his daughter and the young man. The man was immediately put in prison.
A day was set for his trial in the arena. When the day came people gathered and out came the young man.
