Once we seen the land we thought this was be good because all of those opportunities we would have if we conquered it we would have more help to our navy and everything that Hawaii had gone through without no support it would be easy to conquer them
We wanted that land because it was very close to San Francisco and to Alaska so we would have someone out in the ocean to warn us about attackers and if their were attackers we would give them supplies from Alaska and or San Francisco to attack them and they would be over and dealt with before they even get deep into america
In geopolitics as in real estate, it's all about location, location, location. Hawaii occupies a particularly auspicious location some 2,400 miles southwest of San Francisco. It lies along the sea lanes linking Panama with Asia. That was a big deal for sea-power advocates who fretted about where to stage the main U.S. Navy fleet — Atlantic or Pacific?
the hawaian Queen told her troops to stand down when the U.S troops came becaese they were supposed to only help.
U.S troops landed in hawaii on January 17, 1893 to take hawaii over and make it the 50th state of the U.S.
Now Hawaii is part of the United States.
