  • Hello everyone! I am doctor Sho~ Today let me talk some about what is Ionization Energy!
  • As the term suggests. Ionization Energy is the energy to pull the electrons. The formula for it is F= K*q1q2/r^2
  • So! What is Ionization Energy? Good questions!
  • There have one more things you have to know that how is it change in the Periodic Table of the Elements for groups and period!
  • For the groups! It will become decrease from top to bottom. and It also will become increase from left to right for the period! Remember it!
  • For example, in the period. the ablity of element Li to attract electron is one, and the element F is on the right for Li, which means  the ability to attract the electron is greater then Li, so it also means the radius of F is smaller, so the nucleus will also near to the element of F.
  • I guess you still can't understand it, but it's ok because I am a nice teacher!
  • The other example for group! It is different with period. Like element H only have one shell but element Li have to two shells, which means the radius of Li is bigger than H and longer than nucleus. So, the ability of it will weaker. 
  • So! in summary, here is the definition and rule for Ionization Energy. Don't thank me, I know I am the best!
