  • Jury is told what their job is
  • You guys are the jury and are going to decide if Mr.Ramon is innocent or guilty of the murder of his wife.
  • Prosecution (Criminal) and the Defense present their opening statements
  • I am the defense for Mr.Ramon and he is innocent of the murder of his wife.
  • I am the prosecution and Mr. Ramon is guilty of the murder of his wife because of the reasons I am going to explain.
  • Mr.Ramon is innocent because the time of death of Mrs.Ramon does not match up with when he finished work and came home. Everyone who knew him said he was a nice person.
  • Evidence presented by both sides
  • We have witnesses saying that he left work early. He had a motive because he was going lose his job and wanted life insurance money. The murder weapon with Mrs. Ramon's blood on it was found in the trunk of his car.
  • My closing statement is that because of all the evidence I presented and supported that Mr.Ramon is innocent of this tragic death.
