  • The French-Indian War was also known as the Seven Year War fought by the British and French between the expansion of land in the Americas.

  • The Stamp Act of 1765 was an act created by the British that placed a stamp on a paper that shows a tax was paid. They used this act on the colonist to keep up on their taxes.

  • The Townshend Act was act that played against the Colonist by paying taxes for imported items like tea, glass, paint, lead, and paper.

  • The Boston Massacre was violent break out in Boston between the colonist and the British. The British soldier opened fire on a group of American colonist.

  • The Boston Tea Party was when the Colonist dressed up Native Americans and dumped all the tea that the British had. It turned out to be that the British got scared of the Natives.

  • The First Continental Congress was a meeting that cleared if there was 12 or 13 colonies. This meeting organized colonial residence to Parliament's Coercive Acts.
