CIVICS Global Warming Effects on Hydroshpere
This storyboard does not have a description.
UV rays from the Sun are absorbed into the Earth's atmosphere. Some warmth gets reflected back into space.
Human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels and the increase in greenhouse gases have influenced the growth of heat in the atmosphere.
Not only does the atmosphere get affected, but the hydrosphere as well. Ice glaciers are melting due to the warmth produced by, mainly, human activities.
As the ice melts, sea level rises and the oceans get overfilled with water.
Immediately, coastal erosions occur due to the rise of the sea level affecting the environment around, specifically the residences and the marine life.
Therefore, floods and extreme weather conditions are arisen, causing houses to be submerged under water, injuring many lives.
