Storyboard Text

  • Today we are going to learn about metallic bonding.
  • I heard they are really strechable.
  • Kids calm down your nerves. Sit on the designated corner.
  • Yahoooo, finally no more boring lecture.
  • Mamaaaa. I want to go home!!!
  • Everyone close your classroom doors. It's a lock down.
  • Oh God, not again.
  • There is no better way to explain them about metallic bonding than this time.
  • Tell me more!
  • Kids do you know, the way you guys are sitting like now, metals in a metallic bonding sit together in a similar fashion.
  • Oh my god that so shocking.
  • Really?
  • Oh yes. The way you guys are sitting right now in their world they call it lattice structure. Their metals ions slide pass each other, just like the way Nikkie was trying to cleaverly skip the class by sliding pass the door yesterday.
  • They stick with each other all the time, and they can be formed into any type of shape.
  • Sorry, Ms. Bony Structure.
  • The electrons surrounded the metals are called sea of electrons or ocean of electrons, just like you guys were crying few moment ago and if I didn't had stop you guys then there woould have been a sea of tears here...Hahahahaha.
  • It's ok. But next time this shouldn't happen, and if you do want to skip then you have to tell me the function of metallic bonding then I will who heartedly let you go. Hahaha.. I'm soo funny!!!
  • Alright!
  • Still not funny Ms. Structure.
  • Sorry, Ms. Structure but you aren't funny at all. Could you please keep your humor aside and tell us more about the bonding.
  • Let's slide past each other as we are pulled into wires.
  • We are ductile and malleable at the same time. Yahoo!!!
  • I can create that much heat by sitting on the sofa only.
  • We are good conductor of heat and electricity and we have a high melting and boiling point to melt everyone else.
  • It's it cool that to loosen the metallic bonding there needs to be more than 600 degrees of heat.
  • By farting.
  • How?
