Hi there welcome to ancient Egypt, this is the home of the longest river on earth, the Nile river
This is the Nile river, the Nile is our main source of transportation besides walking. We use it to transport people, objects for building, and trading goods
We sing hymns to the Nile because we believe that the sun god Ra floats to the heavens on the Nile
Farmers make irrigation canals so that when the river floods it spreads all over there fields they also use a shaduf to take the water out of the Nile and then spread it on their seeds. Because of the Nile we have good crops
The people get mud from the Nile and make bricks out of the mud and straw to build our houses
The gifts of the Nile affected the Egyptians lives by giving them food, transportation, houses, and spiritual belief
