  • In the beginning, there was Apsu, The sweet water and Tiamat, The salt water.

  • When the seas touched, they created two Gods named Lahmu and Lahamu. They rose to the edge of the water.

  • The Gods created Anshar, Kishar and Anu. They were named 'The Great Gods'.

  • Ea and his mighty brothers arose. His number of his brothers matched the number of Gods there were. 
  • Ea
  • Ea and his brothers were restless. The watched the waters, day and night. The Gods begged them to leave but Ea ignored them. 
  • The Gods wanted war. They planned to attack them sneakily but Ea overheard their plans. Ea defeated Apsu and Tiamat wanted revenge so she created poisonous animals. Ea created the most powerful God of all and killed Tiamat and her army.
