Woah! That's so cool! Interesting!
I just came from History class and it was the best lesson ever! I learned that when the 13 colonies were around back then, slaves mostly worked in the Southern Colonies because there was rich soil and more work had to be done!
I've been looking in the textbook forever and I still can't find the definition of a colony. Can you please tell me so I can get this assignment over with?
Sure, I'll help you! I have a test on the 13 colonies tomorrow, so it's no big deal. A colony is a place that is settled by a group of people outside their home country.
Mom! I learned about the 13 colonies today in my US History class! The New England colonies have a cold climate, the middle region was mild, and the Southern part was hot because it was closest to the equator! Isn't that a great fact?
That sure is a great fact! Good job!
