Jeremy Hansen -Born on January 27, 1976 in London Ontario. -He was a former fighter pilot and had a bachelors degree in the science of space science and a masters degree in the science of physics. -He represents Canada at NASA working at the control center to help communicate messages from the ISS to Earth.
Hello Mr. Jeremy Hansen
Why hello Bobby Chau! I'll give you some tips to help you when yo get up in Space!
Astronaut Bobby Chau is getting ready to make his voyage to explore Space!
The International Space Station -The International Space Station is a research laboratory that circles around the Earth. -It was launched in 1988 -Many countries around the world send astronauts of their nationality to do research up there. -The station can circle the globe 16 times each day at the speed of 28,000 km/h.
Bobby first meets up with Canadian Astronaut Jeremy Roger Hansen to get some tips for Bobby's own safety and what to do in Space.
The Canadarm 2 -It was launched on April 19, 2001 and is still being used. -It's a 17 metre-long robotic arm that was assembled to the ISS. -It is used to move things like equipment, supplies and astronauts -It also does cosmetic catches and helps grab and dock cargo ships with no pilots inside of them.
Meanwhile, in Space, a Russian astronaut's safety tether snapped outside the ISS! He can die to a dangerous hazard in Space which is Space Debris. These particles can form high-speed cosmic dust clouds destroying a very important space suit!
Thank You Bobby!
Bobby gets news of this and has to make a quick stop to the ISS to save this man from the cosmic dust cloud. This is only a job for Bobby Chau!
Bobby makes his way to the ISS and finds out what has gone wrong. There was only one way to save him from this dust cloud in Bobby's mind.
Bobby grabs the Russian Astronaut out of space and helps bring him into the ISS.
