  • An effort by John Brown to initiate a armed slave revolt in 1851
  • We will form a slave revolt for the rights we are given!
  • John Brown originally asked Harriet Tubman and Fredrick Douglass to join him but Harriet was prevented by illness and Douglass declined.
  • Let us all engage in this Slave revolt!
  • Well..Harriet is sick and I...don't believe you can do it so no..
  • By morning Brown and his men were surrounded. A company of U.S. marines arrived. Brown was tried by the state of Virginia for betrayal and murder, and he was found guilty
  • AHHHHHH! DOUGLASS WAS RIGHT!! AHHH!
  • The 59-year-old abolitionist went to the gallows on December 2, 1859
  • I REGRET NOTHING I FOUGHT FOR SLAVE RIGHTS!
  • Ok ok! Lets excute you now!
  • Before his execution, he handed his guard a slip of paper
