- Jamie Underwood is a 47 year old recovering alcoholic of 10 years with bipolar disorder. She recently relapsed and received her 3rd DWI. Her jail stay causes her to miss work, and she is fired.
- Product Experience
- Jamie attends AA in Austin to establish a good network of recovering community. She decides to move to Williamson County in order to avoid strong temptations and needs a change of scenery.

- Jamie hires an attorney for her DWI case and they suggest looking into Pavilion as a recovery program in her new area. She sees that Pavilion is a Clubhouse model organization with a lifetime membership that costs nothing.
- Beneficial Outcome
- Jamie sets up a meeting with Gordon and he introduces her to a current volunteer who went through similar struggles. Jamie begins learning more about her mental illness and the correlation to her drinking.
- Jamie is worried about getting back on her feet financially and doesn't know how to get help with her housing and bills. Jamie's mentor introduces her to Pavilion's housing and bills resource page, and within the week she has a enrolled in an assistance program.
- Jamie finds herself getting the support she needs from the Pavilion community. She becomes steadily employed and loves her new life in Round Rock. She is thinking of suggesting Pavilion to her little brother, who she suspects is struggling with substance abuse.
