  • Let's make the Greeks surrender before the war starts. 
  • I don't want our soldiers to die, and I don't want to go through the hassle.
  • IF YOU WANT GREEK EARTH AND WATER, HELP YOURSELVES!
  • If any of the Persians asked the Greeks for gifts, they would throw them in a pit.
  • The king thought that it would be a good idea to make the Greeks surrender before the war starts. He didn't want his soldiers to die.
  • No! If you ask one more time, I will throw you into a pit!
  • Hey, can we have some gifts?
  • When the Persians started asking the Greeks for gifts, the Reeks started to become a little annoyed and mad. 
  • We are outnumbered, so we have to think up a plan. Let's split and go into three sides around the Persians so they are cornered.
  • The  Persians lost the Battle of Marathon.
  • If any of the Persians asked the Greeks for gifts, the Greeks would throw them into a pit.
  • What should we do now, we're cornered?
  • Let's keep on fighting, all of us are probably going to die, because they have better weapons than we do. But there is a chance.
  • A Persian asked a Greek for gifts, the Greek got really mad and he threw him into a pit.
  • The Greek army was outnumbered, so they had to come up with a plan. They split up and went on three different sides so the Persian army is cornered.
  • The Greek army followed their plan and cornered the Persian army. They attacked the Persians on all three sides and the Greeks won the Battle of Marathon.
