Prince Siddhartha was a rich Prince who had all the luxuries of life.
Siddhartha left his palace to see the world. He saw four things that disturbed him. First he saw an old man.
He saw a sick man and learned about illnesses that make people suffer.
He saw death and witnessed preparation for a cremation.
He saw an ascetic munk.
Siddhartha searched for an answer to the sufferings of life. He first became an ascetic, but learned his path was not solving his problems. He adapted the middle way.
Siddhartha meditated under a tree and reached Nirvana and enlightenment. He became Buddha- the awakened one.
