  • Romeo:"If I profane with my unworthiest hand this holy shrine, the gentle sin in this: my lips, two blushing pilgrims,ready stand to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss."(Act 1, Scene 5, Line 91-94)
  • Romeo Meets Juliet
  • Juliet:"Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much, which mannerly devotion shows in this, for saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, and palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss."(Act 1, Scene 5, Line 95-98)
  • Balcony Scene
  • Romeo:"O, speak again, bright angel! For thou art as glorious to this night, being o'er my head,as is a winged messenger of heaven...."( Act 2, Scene 2, Line 26-28)
  • Juliet:"O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?"(Act 2, Scene 2, Line 33)
  • Romeo & Friar Lawrence
  • Friar Lawrence:"Be plain, good son, and homely in thy drift. Riddling confession finds but riddling shrift."(Act 2, Scene 3,Line 55-56)
  • Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time. Romeo is deeply in love with her and Juliet is falling for him too. They kiss for the first time too. Romeo leaves telling her he will come back.
  • Romeo & The Nurse
  • Romeo:"Nurse, commend me to thy lady and mistress. I protest unto thee...."( Act 2, Scene 4, Line 147-148)
  • Romeo meets Juliet at her balcony. Romeo and Juliet confess their love for each other. They decide to get married the next day.
  • Juliet & The Nurse
  • Romeo meets Friar Lawrence. He asks the Friar is he can marry Juliet and him. The Friar agrees to the plan. Friar Lawrence agreed to this because he thinks it will end the two houses feud.
  • Romeo & Juliet Get Married
  • Juliet: I Do.
  • Romeo:"Then plainly know my heart's dear love is set on the friar daughter of rich Capulet."(Act 2, Scene 3, Line 57-58)
  • Friar Lawrence:Do you wish to marry each other?
  • Romeo: I Do.
  • Juliet sends the Nurse to talk with Romeo about their marriage. Romeo confirms that he wants to marry Juliet and tells the Nurse to send her to the church at a certain time. The Nurse gives them their blessings and agrees to the plan.
  • Nurse:"Good heart, and i' faith, I will tell her as much. Lord, Lord,she will be a joyful woman."(Act 2, Scene 4, Line 149-150)
  • The Nurse returns to Juliet. Juliet is anxious and excited for the new the Nurse brings. The Nurse is finding excuses for not telling Juliet the news.
  • Juliet:"What says he of our marriage? What of that?"(Act 2 Scene 5, Line 46)
  • Nurse:"Lord, how my head aches! What a head have I!"(Act 2, Scene 5, Line 47)
  • Juliet arrives to the church and rushes to Romeo. Friar Lawrence separates them and tells them to be patient. The two agree and hurriedly to as the Friar says. The Friar marries Romeo and Juliet.
