In this chapter Scout describes the town were she lived, Maycomb. She talks about her family, Jem his brother and Atticus his father. Jem and Scout meets Dill and talked about the Radleys.
"Now you tell your father not to teach you anymore. its best to begin reading with a fresh mind. You tell him I'll take over from here and try to undo the damage."
"Yo folks might be better'n the Cunninghams but it don't count for nothin' the way you're disgracing em."
"He ain't company, cal he's just a Cunningham."
In this chapter Jem , Dill, and Scout are playing a game. This game made Scout end in the Radleys yard.
"They spent days together in the treehouse plotting and planning, calling me only when they needed a third party. " Scot says when she cant play with Dill and Jem and has to go talk to Miss Maudie.
In chapter 6 and 7 Jem, Dill and Scout peek into the Radley house, when they saw a man with a gun, they ran and Jem got stuck n a fence and had to take his pants off. Someone had left some things to Jem and Scout in the tree house.
