don't eat him, he has an oily flavor, so you must drink him with wine.
Hurry everyone!, run for your lives!
Aghh, where have they gone!?!
One by one the cyclops ate them. Ulysses was not going to let his men die. So, he thought of a plan. He was going to get the cyclops drunk so he would fall asleep, and then he would put out his eye with a sword.
As the giant drank the wine, he began getting sleepier and sleepier until he fell on the floor. Leaving the man he was about to eat on a high shelf. Before, the cyclops had asked what Ulysses's name was, he replied with Nobody.
Holding his eye the cyclops ran after them, but he could not see. He tried to feel the ground. But clever Ulysses had told everyone to hide under the bellies of the sheep in front of the cave, so all the cyclops felt was the fur of the sheep.
Everyone got on top of the sheep and rode away to their boat, with Odysses the cyclops running after them.
They rode away happily, and Ulysses called out to Odysses "It was not Nobody who has done this to you but Ulysses!" The gods honer courage but do not like it when people are full of themselves.
So Odysses pleaded to Poseidon, the god of the sea, that he would make Ulysses wander the ocean for a long time, and when he returned home he would be unwanted and forgotten. And that was exactly what happened.
