Haber Process Part 2

Storyboard Text

  • Flashback to 1910
  • I, Fritz Haber, have invented Haber-Bosch process—the answer to Sir William Cooke's' prediction on the outstrip of the supply of wheat around 1931. I discovered that it's possible to synthesize ammonia with the fusion of atmospheric nitrogen and hydrogen through high heat and pressure upon a catalyst.
  • A few years later ...
  • Not only did I, Carl Bosch co-developed the process but I also continued to work on it until it can produce ammonia on a industrial level. I took my time and developed it further until it produced methanol and other synthetic fuels. I know that our process is successful because this method is responsible for producing one-third of the entire world's food supply each year.
