  • In this scene Frances is telling Emma to brush her hair. The significance to the story and the history Of America  is that when Frances demanded Emma to brush her hair Emma ha to do it because she had no other choice because Frances owned her.
  • In this scene Emma is asking Sarah what is wrong but then Frances gets jealous because Emma is not doing what she asked her to do. This scene significance to both the story and to history of America because Emma is paying ore attention to Sarah and Frances is getting made an she could get Emma into big trouble.
