Storyboard Text

  • A man named Julio owned some land. The man  grew grapes on his land. One morning, he went out very early to hire some other people to work on his field. The man agreed to pay the workers one silver coin.
  • Let's Go!
  • Let us work on his field!
  • Men, don't waste your time doing nothing, instead work on my field to gain something.
  • At about nine o'clock the man went to the market place and saw some other people standing. People were doing nothing. So the man said to them...
  • If you go and work in my field, I will pay you what your work is worth.
  • Oh, really? That's great!
  • The man went out again about twelve o'clock and again at three o'clock. Both times  the man hired some other people to work in his field. He saw some other people standing there.
  • No person give us a job.
  • Thank you for this opportunity sir!
  • Why did you stand here all day doing nothing?
  • Then you can go and work on my field.
  • Then the man sent the people to his field.
  • At the end of the day, Julio give each workers their wage. Julio started paying the last people he hired. Then paying all of them ending with the workers he hired first.
  • Here are your wages for working in my field.
  • Thank you sir!
  • So the people went to work in the field.
  • Workers who was hired first complained for the amount they received.
  • Those people were hired last and worked only one hour, but you paid them the same as us!
  • And the workers realized.
  • And the people that have the first place now will have the last place in the future.
  • So the people that have the last place now will have the first place in the future.
  • We owe you a lot!
  • It's unfair! And in fact we worked hard all day long in the field!
  • Friend I am being fair with you. You agreed to work for one silver coin, right?
  • Workers got the PRICE!!! It is their realization that cannot be compare with a money.
