  • Exposition

  • Riding Action
  • In this story there is man, a mad man, a very ill man, so it says in the story. This mad man believes that this illness has given him a sense of hearing power, he believes he is very well, but he is not, for what he is about to do.
  • Climax
  • There is an old man that has given the mad man chills, he felt as if he must get rid of something,  something about that old man. He didn't hate the old man or wanted anything from him, he loved the old man, but when the old man looks at the mad man , he feels an evil through his eye, he needs to kill the old man to close the eye forever.
  • Falling Action
  • The mad man sits in the room as the old man sleeps, he stays by the door way blocking any light coming through, he watches him, wait for the moment, he has made countless visits to his room watching him, but then the old man awakens.
  • Resolution
  • "Who's there??!" The old man cried, this was the mad mans time he acted quick. He ran in the room garbing the bed sheets placing them over the old mans face, he held it tightly insuring no one could hear the screams, he continued to let him struggle until he fell still, he checked his heart beat once more, the old man we dead.
  • Once he killed the old man he had to get rid of the body, he cut off each body part making sure there was no trace of the body anywhere, but then he had visitors, cops, he invites them in, showing them around , telling them there is nothing wrong.
  • He takes them to the room where the body was, of course non of the cops know, but then he hears pounded, and it gets louder and louder and louder, until he couldn't  take it no more, he tells the cops where he put the body,  he could not take the sound of the mans heart no more.
