  • I'm so ready for this interview!
  • Branding is the key to success for any business...
•'s how you make a lasting impression on your customers!
  • ...branding is important for so many reasons.
  • Wait!
  • Oh man...I'm doomed! I don't stand a chance.
  • Branding is...uh...important because...uh
  • Are you here for the job interview?
  • Why am I even here...this is such a waste of time.
  • Uh, um, uh...yes please
  • OK...Just have a seat over there.
  • Samantha is prepared for her job interview. She's practiced her responses and completed some minor research on the company she applied to. She is confident and expects to get the job.
  • What does branding mean to you?
  • Well...uh..
  • Vijay on the other hand has not practiced at all. He has the knowledge but lacks the confidence and is starting to act like he already knows the outcome.
  • Great answer! I like your confidence. We could use someone like you in our company.
  • I'd like to offer you a position.
  • I knew this was going to happen.
  • Aw man...
  • Vijay shows up just minutes before the interview and acts more and more like he doesn't have a chance of getting the job.
  • Oh was bound to happen.
  • She had a better answer anyway.
  • Samantha has a solid, confident answer and demonstrates her enthusiasm. Vijay on the hand is the exact opposite.
  • Branding is a key to success since it is how you make an impression on your customers.
  • ...branding you
  • really important
  • Since she had the better interview, Samantha was offered the job while Vijay wallows in self pity and begins to justify the outcome by making himself believe that he already predicted the outcome.
  • Thank you!
  • Vijay continues to justify his self-fulfilling prophecy.
