Storyboard Text

  • Lincoln goes to the theater
  • Great day to go to the theater
  • He wasn't alone though
  • *discussing what the play might be like*
  • Lincoln's Bodyguard left his post able for Lincoln to be assassinated
  • I'd rather watch the show
  • He thought it would be nice to relax a bit and go to the theater
  • John Wilkes Booth finds a way
  • "Well, you're not the only one that wants to escape the draft"
  • He brought his wife Mary Lincoln, Henry Rathbone and his fiance Clara Harris
  • When the time was right
  • Just as I expected
  • His body guard John Frederick Parker left him to watch the show then went with other policemen for a drink next door
  • Lincoln died the following day
  • Why!?!?
  • John Wilkes knew so much about the play "Our American Cousin" he could have played all the roles in one which is what gave him an advantage when trying to assassinate Lincoln ((this was a line dedicated to Lincoln wanting to have seats away from the draft))
  • Ha ha ha ha
  • When everyone was laughing John was ready to shot at Lincoln assacinating him
  • Lincoln died the next day at 7:22 a.m April 15, 1865 and John Booth died in a farm weeks later due to policemen soon finding him and burning the farm down
