- Ptolemy was born 100 A.D in Macedonia, Egypt his mother Arsinoe and his father Lagus actually named him Claudius Ptolemaeus but she now calls him Ptolemy
- He grew up in the royal court at Pella, In this scene he was joining Alexander at the Mieza where he studied for three years being teached by a Greek philosopher Aristotle during 384 B.C.E- 322 B.C.E
- Overtime, He worked on something called "Geographia." It was a important study on he provided latitude and longitude coordinates for a lot of places and geographical features in the world. He also made the methods of creating maps better
- Ptomley gave birth to 10 kids with his wife Berenice, Arisonoe ||, Philadelphus, Keraunos, Meleager, Lysandra, Ptolemais, Philotera, Argaeus, Eirene, and Leontiscus.
- Ptolemy left a leagcy, he did many methods that people use in mathematics today, A college named St. Johns had campuses that are also named in Ptomely's honor
- Ptomley's most important work was the "Almagest" numerous amounts of people in the world know about it, Its a mathematical theory of the movement of planets, the Sun, amd the Moon
