Kartini is the eldest of three unmarried daughters of the Regent of Japara. She really exited in word 'emancipation' because she really wants to struggle woman right to study better. It is caused by the rules in her era that forbid women to study, and she can't break the rule. She was amazed that European women could get a better education.

Kartini tells that even the women have talent, they can't develop that. So, she really wants to change that rule.She also tells that doing kiss in Java is something taboo.
Although I also learn to paint and draw, the most I love is writing.

Kartini missed Mevrouwtje because she gave them too much care and spoiled them too much at Djombang.

I tried to learn about 'Modern Woman'
We want to ask the Indian Government to send us to Europe at the country's expense. To be truly civilized, intellectual and moral education must go hand in hand. For that, the woman and the mother can do most for the elevation of the moral standard or mankind. When we come back to Java, we shall open a school for girls of the nobility.
