The citizens among my kingdom, Ignis et Glacies, are completely separated from one another. There's the fire realm, where the ignis hominems are, and the ice realm, where the homo glacies are.
There was always a differentiation between the ice and fire realm. The people within the ice realm possess ice powers and the people within the fire realm. I'm a homo glacies, possessing ice powers of a dragon.
Legend has it that there is a specimen out there that has a mix of fire and ice powers from a homo glacies female and and an ignis hominem male. My fellow people have always thought it impossible for there to be someone who has a mixture of these powers since they are opposing forces and those powers could kill off the other power. Apparently she is lurking around the wall border that segregates the ice realm from the fire realm, lost for decades.
One day, I was wandering around, completely in inner peace until I realized that I had reached the wall. My mom had warned me that the hybrid has grown up to become a powerful and possibly dangerous specimen in our realm. That didn't bother me as I was staring with amazement at the fire and ice engravings on the wall. Then I saw a picture of a girl who was surrounded by fire and ice. I realized that I came up upon the picture of the hybrid.
I had just realized that the picture of the hybrid shows a sad expression on the girl's face. I felt so bad for the amount of prejudice she got from my fellow realm and even the ice realm. She doesn't exactly belong in any realm, which makes me feel more bad for her. While I was grieving, I had felt someone looking over me when I saw her.
When she came up to me, to my surprise, she was very welcoming and friendly. She waved at me and I waved back. Later on, I found out that her name was Rey. Everyone was being judgmental and putting prejudice on her, but she was actually very nice. I also realized that I resonated with her a lot and we became inseparable ever since!
We were determined in conveying the message to not judge others before getting to actually know them and not jump to conclusions and make assumptions. We wanted to unit all the people of Ignis et Glacies no matter what realm they were from! We were determined in succeeding with this plan!
