Storyboard Text

  • The narrator finds her neighbor, Sheila Mant, attractive.
  • Oh, Sheila Mant...
  • The narrator asks if Sheila wants to go to a fair with him, but he doesn't have a car so they go by canoe.
  • How about going to the band tonight?
  • No problem! We'll go by canoe.
  • Ummmm.... do you have a car?
  • They go by canoe and encounter themselves with a bass, the creature the narrator has always wanted to capture.
  • What's that noise?!?!
  • No worries, its just bass.
  • Yes! I finally have a chance to both capture the bass and be with Sheila Mant! What an awesome night!
  • Sheila comments on how she dislikes fishing, which creates a struggle for the narrator.
  • Fishing is so boring and time-wasting! I can't stand it!!!
  • What should I do?
  • I want to catch the bass but Sheila can't find out! What will she think of me?
  • The narrator has the perfect opportunity to capture the bass, but lets it go with his heart broken while they reach their destination.
  • Why did I let the bass go?
  • Did we arrive?
  • Was Sheila really worth losing the bass? At least I've learned my lesson.
  • They both have a good time at the fair but the narrator learns he should not be afraid of being himself in front of others.
  • Ok.
  • You're a funny guy! Also, I'm returning in someone else's car.
