Storyboard Text

  • As shown here, precipitation falls down from the sky and into the ground.
  • As the rain falls, most of it is collected in rivers, lakes, or oceans.
  • Once the rain has been collected, the sun condenses some of the water and turns into water vapor. This is called the condensation process.
  • Some of the vapor goes up into the clouds, but some also goes for plants. This process is called transpiration.
  • Since some of it goes into plants, the other part of the water vapor goes into clouds. There is where the rain collects until it is full.
  • Finally, rain comes down again from the clouds and the same cycle repeats all the time.
