Storyboard Text

  • Cassy and Emmeline successfully escaped from Legree. They were waiting to board the boat dressed as a Spanish Creole and a servant.
  • I remember him. He's the man from who buried Tom and set Legree straight. He was Tom's old master.
  • A French lady named Madame de Thoux who previously lived in Kentucky, overheard that George came from Kentucky and wanted to be his acquaintance.
  • O certainly , George Harris, I know him well; he married a servant of my mother's, but has escaped, now, to Canada.
  • I am his sister. I was sold to the South when he was a boy. My master was kind, set me free, and married me. He died but I came to Kentucky looking for George
  • Do you know of a man named George Harris?
  • That is my daughter! She is free and happy! I might be able to see her!.....
  • Cassy fainted.
  • Madame de Thoux asked what girl he had married. George responded a treasure that had been sold by a man names Simmons.
