What changed it though? You could talk for any country in the world now?
I know excatly how that feels...
When I came to the UK I thought I would never be able to get a job I want...because of my accent...
I know, right! It was a woman I met int the library - she accent was strong as anything, but she was lovely and helpful. And I thought, yeah! I can do it!
And was this because of your accent?
This is what everyone needs to hear! Cheers to that!
What's the phrase? Penny's dropped? Well, whatever I dropped, I didn't look back! Ever since!
Yep, pretty much. It has always been really strong. I thought I would have to stay in the jobs I didn't really enjoy just because of the way my English sounds...
