  • The American Forces Retreating
  • We must hurry men! Away from the British!
  • Coming up with a Plan
  • Crossing the River
  • The Americans retreated to New Jersey after fighting and losing to the British forces. They lost many men, as well as they, are running low in supplies such as food, blankets, and gun.
  • The American Force surprise attack the Hessians (Germans) force
  • Geroge Washington came up with a plan to surprise attack the Hessians early in the morning the day after Christmas. He informs the rest and the start to perfect the plan or the war is over.
  • Hessians's Defeat
  • I surrender.
  •  The Americans had to cross the Delaware River to get to the Hessians. They do this in the late at night and would try attack as early as possible. If they wait the British and Hessians can cross over when the river freeze over and is able to be walked on.
  • American Victory at Trenton
  • Good job, Lads! Let's go home.
  • The Americans surprise attack the Hessians the day after Christmas. It's later than they thought around 8 am but still manage to surprise the Hessians because they were drinking heavily at the Christmas they had. 
  • Hurry Men!
  • The lead of the Hessians General Rall, admits defeat and surrenders to Geroge Washington.  After this, General Rall dies because of the fatal injure to the chest. 
  • They beat the Hessians at the Battle of Trenton. They take their guns, ammunition, blanket, and food. They also take many people working for the Hessians now start work for the Americans. A victory for Geroge Washington's army.
