Storyboard Text

  • When the narrator was young, he was very fond of animals.
  • The narrator married a woman who also loves animals. Also, they had a cat named Pluto. However, the narrator starts having a drinking problem and starts acting peevish.
  • The narrator's drinking problem got worse and he stabbed Pluto's eye out. Then, one day, he hung the cat while he was drunk.
  • When the narrator was coming back from the bar, a cat followed him. He decided to keep the creature, but quickly formed an aversion towards it.
  • One day, the narrator became so angry at the cat that he raised an axe to kill it. His wife tries to stop him, but instead the narrator kills the woman out of anger instead.
  • After the narrator killed his wife, he walled her up. A couple of weeks later, then police shows up and searches the house. The narrator felt the need to tap the wall, feeling accomplished but the cat was inside, shrieking. The police discovered the body and eventually decided to hang him for murder.
