one of the themes of "Rumble Fish" is that life isn't always fair i say this because in one part of the book he gets expelled from school and he has to go to a school that a dude he beat up goes to and the dude "runs" that school
Another theme is never judge a book by it's cover i say this because The Motorcycle Boy is described as tough and scary looking and usually when people are described like that some people might think that they aren't as smart as other people but The motorcycle boy is smart in many ways.
One of Rusty James character trait would be lonely because near the end of the book he says "i was in a glass bubble and everyone was outside it, and i'd be alone like that for the rest of my life."
Another character trait i would give Rusty James would be ruthless because he decides to steal medicine instead of buying it.
I like this book because it teaches you that not everyone's life is perfect. The book was exciting to read because you didn't know what was about to happen next. If the book way longer i think it would made the book better.
