Storyboard Text

  • Hi my name is Niels Bohr and I got my masters degree in physics in 1909 and doctorate degree in 1911
  •  I went on to study the structure of an atom based on Rutherford's discovery of the atomic nucleus.
  • I sent my ideas on the model of an atom to the Royal Society in London, which was then published in the journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society in 1908
  • My discovery of the nucleus and development of an atomic model had earned myself a Nobel Prize in chemistry in 1908.
  • I was the first to discover that electrons travel in separate orbits around the nucleus and that the number of electrons in the outer orbit determines the properties of an element.
  • For all the info about myself I used https://www.livescience .com/32016-niels-bohr- atomic-theory.html
