The Adventures of Neolithic Nel and Paleolithic Nick
We traded things like flint and obsidian. We rode donkys over hundreds of miles.
We rarely traded with other people.
The people roamed to hunt wild animals.
And people gatherd food like nuts and berries and seeds from the plants they saw.
One of the pros for people living during the Paleolithic times is they were forced to adapt to their enviorment. Some of the cons they had to face were infections, famine (not enough food), droughts (not enough water) and many early deaths.
Our shelters were made up of clay and stone for the foundation.
We lived in caves and some of my friends lived in rough tents.
Cons for paleolithic times were Hunting & foraging societies, Development of belief systems & culture, Development of technology, And Peopling of the Earth.
People settled in large communites.
We had groups of 20 to 60 people moving from place to place to hunt food.
One of the pros for people living during the Neleolithic times was people could stay in one place. More people could be fed/steady food supply/surplus of foodPopulation of world could increasePeople could learn other trades besides farmingSpecialization of laborBetter technology.
We could develop more specialized skills like farming. We had weavers, basket makers and toolmakers and traders.
We had to find enough food to survive.
Cons of the Neolithic AgeNot as much variety in their dietsMore grain and less meat was consumedStaying in one place caused diseases to spread quicklyPollution contaminated water supply.
