  • And slowly, very slowy I made up my mind to take the life of the old man."
  • "One of his eyes looked like the eyes of a vulture. It was a pale blue eye  with a film over it. whenever it looked at me my blood ran cold.
  • thump THUMP THUMP

  • "With a loud yell I threw open the lantern and leaped into the room. He screamed once and only once"
  • Falling action
  • We heard screams from the house do you know anything?
  • "Villians!" I screamed "enough! I admit the deed! Tear up the planks! Here, here! it is the beating of his hideous heart!"
  • thump THUMP THUMP
  •  The rising action is a related series of incidents that build toward a point the point of greatest point of interest. The rising action in this story is the protagonist stalking the man because he hates his Vulture eye and wants to kill him for it.
  • The climax is the point at which the conflict is resolved and the story outcome is clear. The Protaganists is murdering the man because the old man knows he is watching him sleep and the sound of his "heart beat".
  • The falling action occurs after the climax has been reached and the conflict has been resolved.  The falling action is that he admits to the murder because of the sound thats driving him mad.
