As you’ve said, I’m a hunter as well. If you read my books, you must know that I think very highly of myself… but that only limits to animals.
We’re hunters, we kill other lives, but only animals kill one another. The only reason humans can survive for so long, can be so superior, is because we have the ability to think, as you’ve said, and people who are able to think must know that murdering is not right.
If you hunt your own type as well, then what’s the difference between you and an animal? How will you feel if your family or other Cossacks get killed? How will they think if they learned that you got killed, by another human?
