  • The two brothers of Antigone named Eteocles and Polyneices are now in battle over the throne. Although Eteocles is the elder, both feel entitled to the throne. Unfortunately, both die from this horrific war and receive different results.
  • How dare ye ? I am the older child. I deserve the throne.
  • Determination
  • I deserve the throne. Not you. I'm more qualified.
  • Antigone gave her brother Polyneices the right funeral but she is unfortunately caught. Creon is furious and decides to condemn her to death. No one, not even his son who is her fiancee can change his mind.
  • Antigone!
  • Civil disobedience
  • Oh, My dear brother. i must obey the order of the Gods. The body of my dear brother can't be left here. I will not listen to man's law.
  • Haemon, Antigone's fiancee begged and begged but Creon wouldn't budge. When haemon found out that she had finally died, he killed himself in distress. His sweet mother was devastated about her son and unfortunately killed herself also.
  • Father, please. She was doing the right thing and I love her. Spare her Father.
  • Pride
  • Son, leave me be. I have spoken. She defiled my order. Now, she must pay the consequences. She has stepped on my toes.
  • Haemon was devastated when he seen Antigone. Beacuse he loved her and was sad, he hanged himself. His mother then joined

  • My Antigone didn't deserve this.
  • Creon had seen outside, in the town, that his son and dear wife hanged themselves. He was mortified and was depressed that his actions led to this. By the time he had even changed his mind, it was too late and he lost his whole family.
  • Disobedience
  • Your anger is what killed lives. You dishonoured the Gods. You are nothing but their servant, but you have forgotten that.
  • But i didn't think my decision would shed blood
  • Regret
  • Teresias had advised Creon and had told him to change his mind, but when Creon did, it was too late. Teresias had told Creon about how much he's created a big mistake because the gods were mocked. Creon ended up causing such a tragedy.
