It was a dark and dreary night. Jess found herself lost in the woods. Rain soaked her hair and clothes. Jess shivered more with every step she took.
Jess walked for what seemed like ages until she reached a small clearing. Jess just sat and waited for everything and anything to happen, listening to the harsh howl of the wind through the trees, and the rain fall quickly forming puddles on the ground. Soon the moon slid into view from behind the clouds, the light illuminating everything around Jess.
Jess heard a rustling sound, and suddenly a man appeared in front of her. His skin sickly pale like snow, hair as dark as death, and was wearing gothic garments. The moon disappeared, and it felt like the ice cold rain soaked right through to her soul.
Oblivious to the man's blood red eyes, Jess' curiosity took over. "Excuse me, but can you help me? I lost my way." He kept staring at her with hard eyes. "Not yet," he replied and inched closer.
Minutes passed, until Jess asked again. "Can you please help me?" "Not yet," he replied. And again inched even closer to her.
Minutes passed, but this time the moon decided to reappear. Jess asked again. "Can you help me now?" He was so close to Jess, she could feel his cold breath . His eyes became more red with every second. He smiled baring his sharp, white teeth and said, "Now".
