I remember. I remember...
Hannah just went to her friend Rosemary's easter party. She now has to go to a Seder, which is a dinner. It takes place on the first night of a Jewish holiday called passover. The Seder takes place at her grandparents' house. Hannah is arguing with her mom in this scene, insisting that she doesn't want to go.
Hannah begins to list all the reasons why she shouldn't go to the Seder. She hopes she can convince her mom to let her stay home. Her mom begins to lecture her about the importance of the Seder and remembering. Hannah does not want to "remember" things.
Hannah's mother continues to lecture Hannah about the Seder. She goes into the importance of family, especially to her grandparents. Her grandparents lost their families to the Nazis in WW11. Hannah says she remembers everything she heard about the Holocaust. She is tired of hearing about the Holocaust.
